National exhibition in Coventry to showcase world-leading autonomous mobile robots

Visitors to a major national exhibition in Coventry will be able to see autonomous mobile robots in action and discover how they are transforming a wide range of industries.

Automation UK 2025 will be return to Coventry Building Society Arena for a third year on Monday 7 May and Tuesday 8 May.

Leading automation, robotics and machine vision businesses from around the world will be returning to the venue to showcase how new technologies can help to streamline, enhance and scale businesses.

The event emphasises the importance of emerging technologies to the growth of the country’s economy and introduces businesses to solutions which could transform their future operations.

Leading automation, robotics, and industrial vision providers will be showcasing the latest innovations in the industry, with visitors also getting the chance to see live demonstrations of technologies in action.

This will include a mobile robot demo zone for the first time, focussing on how the technology can drive greater efficiency.

Global manufacturers and suppliers will be at the event, including ABB, Clearview Imaging, Beckhoff Automation, FANUC, Scorpion Vision, Rockwell Automation, KUKA Robotics, Schneider Electric, Siemens, OEM Automatic, and Zebra Technologies.

The event continues to grow and has launched an expanded seminar programme, with five seminar theatres this year.

The programme features seminars on the latest trends in automation, robotics, and machine vision, including keynotes from Jake Hall, the Manufacturing Millennial, who is making his debut UK keynote speech, Make UK Chair and member of the House of Lords, Lord Harrington, and Interact Analysis’ Tim Dawson and Jonathan Sparkes.

They will be providing key insights into government policy, the future of manufacturing, and the development of the UK machine vision market.

The event is organised by trade association Automate UK, the leading trade association for automation suppliers and end users of technology across processing, packaging, robotics and machine vision.

Scott McKenna, Chief Operating Officer for Automation UK, said: “Since our inaugural show in 2023, this event has grown significantly and has become an industry-leading exhibition for visitors and exhibitors alike.

“An opportunity to connect with key decision makers, boost both business profiles and sales, and to generate leads, Automation UK also provides essential insights for those wanting to stay ahead of the curve.”

Automation UK has this year combined with Vision UK (formerly the Machine Vision Conference) to raise the profile of machine vision and automation industries in one integrated event at Coventry Building Society Arena.

Jenni Ford, Director of Sales and Marketing at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “We work with events to facilitate their growth, and it has been fantastic to see Automation UK go from strength to strength over the last three months.

“Our diverse space allows for organisers to create new areas at their shows, such as additional seminar theatres. We’re looking forward to welcoming back one of the most cutting-edge events in the UK to the venue in May.”
