Arts and cultural organisations across Leamington Spa, Warwick, Whitnash, and Kenilworth are being encouraged to take advantage of a new Marketing Toolkit designed to support the local creative industries.
The project led by the Warwick District Council’s Arts Section provides a comprehensive set of resources to enhance the visibility of creative organisations, heritage and cultural assets, festivals, and events.
Recognising the need for a coordinated approach to marketing within the district’s creative sector, UK Shared Prosperity Funding was used by the Council to commission a user-friendly Marketing Toolkit to host on their website warwickdc.gov.uk/marketingtoolkit, designed to be easily and freely accessible to organisations of all sizes.
The free resource includes a wealth of information and guidance on:
With its intuitive structure, the toolkit provides clear, practical advice tailored to the needs of the local arts and cultural community.
Councillor Ella Billiald, Portfolio Holder for Arts, Culture and Economy at Warwick District Council said:
“As a proud advocate for our thriving arts and cultural scene in Warwick District, I am thrilled that we have been able to commission this new Marketing Toolkit. This free, dynamic resource empowers our arts and cultural organisations to amplify their marketing efforts, share knowledge, and connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and shaped by invaluable community input, it reflects our commitment to supporting creativity and innovation in our towns and villages across the district, and championing our vibrant cultural community, enabling collaboration, growth and success”.
As an evolving platform, the toolkit allows for future expansion, with local businesses, arts and cultural organisations and initiatives encouraged to get in touch with the Arts Team so that they can be added.
